If you live in MA, go to http://kennedy.senate.gov/ and select 'case work' from Constituents Services. If you live in another state, go to your state's senator's website and find link to send them request related to cases pending with gov. agencies.

The Intent & Implicatins could easilty be challenged....I need not have to write how intent could be challenged, as fa as implications are concerned, country cap has given grief to certain section, while they are still living in the country...
Do we have any reference to say it is unconstitutional ? If EB country cap is unconstitutional, FB cap would be unconstitutional too.
IMO this entire country cap rule has racist intent. If the caps were to promote diversity, the cap should be based on ethnicity of US population (ctizens and GC holders). Are Indians and Chinese a a mjority in this country ? No.

If you expect the IV core to dedicate it's time JUST for a particular secction of people, then you need to justify that demand.
In your opinion, EB3 is a LOWLY category as compared to EB2. So it is not enough that Nurses feed from it and just about EVERYONE else feeds from it. To top it off, overflow from eb1 goes FIRST to eb2 and then (and almost NEVER) to eb3. SO Eb2 gets a fair chunk of the greed cards, and over and above that you now want the IV core to further drop everything else and help JUST eb2 out? And who should make this demand? None other than someone who is trying to BREAK the community up into Eb2 vs Eb3.

Latest USCIS receipting up-date shows "July 29" for NSC. My application was received on July 31st. It seems my case is one more week wait....hopefully.

I will bump that one up ...I am surprised that we cant get a 1000 people to contribute some money..An avg of $50 will get us beyond $50,000 (Obviously we dont need even 1000 people because many will contribute 100 or more) ..There just too many leaches who wait for others to do thier job..

Thank you for your letter regarding the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act of 2009 (S. 729). As always, I value your input on this and other issues, and strive to keep you updated on the important issues facing us today.
On March 26, 2009, the DREAM Act was introduced by Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL). This bill would authorize the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to cancel the removal of, and give conditional permanent resident status to, an alien who entered the U.S. prior to his or her 16th birthday and has lived in the U.S. for a period of 5 years. Such a resident must also meet other requirements, such as be judged to be of good moral character, not inadmissible or deportable under the Immigration and Nationality Act, be admitted to a higher education institution or have completed high school or the equivalent, never been under a final order of deportation, and be under 35 years of age at the time of this Act�s enactment.
Furthermore, the DREAM Act sets parameters for conditional permanent resident status, and the process by which one transitions from conditional to permanent residency status. Under S. 729, an undocumented alien would also be authorized to petition the Secretary for conditional permanent residency if that individual has satisfied all of the above requirements prior to the enactment of the Act. Currently, S. 729 is before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary where it awaits further consideration. While I am not a member of this committee, I will certainly monitor the progress of this bill.
As you may know, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) announced on September 14, 2010, that he would offer the DREAM Act as an amendment to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 Defense Authorization bill (S. 3454) as well as not allow a fair and open debate on the bill. I was disappointed that he chose to play politics with necessary support for our troops and national defense by trying to tack on the DREAM Act, which is unrelated to the daily operations of the Department of Defense. I remain committed to reforming our legal immigration system and streamlining the legal process; however, I have consistently opposed proposals that extend taxpayer benefits to those here illegally or give incentives for illegal immigration. On September 21, 2010, the Senate voted 56 to 43, where 60 affirmative votes were needed, not to move forward with debate on the Defense Authorization bill. I joined colleagues from both sides of the aisle to oppose this vote.

If you think it is that ridiculuous, then you should tell the core members that. They did ask us to call him on the last day of LD. There is nothing wrong in writing to him. In fact, you are making a comparison that is not correct.
Actually, it was an exceptional situation. As you are well aware of, we had to get an unanimous consent if the skil bill were to pass in the LD, so, we needed to have Session's approval. To deflect the situation, he just said that his office hadnt received any positive comments.. When we ended up jamming his phones and gave all the positive comments, what came out of that, nuthing.. he did not budge from his stance.. It was just a ploy and even if the entire US of A had called him, he would not have changed his stance.. He had to score brownie points from his supporters. He knows that the Skil bill will be passed next year, and may be some form of CIR even.. He can then blame it on the democrats and stand for re-election in 2009 with complete support from his supporters..
Its all a gimmick for votes. This is politics, same thing in every country, just more sophisticated here...

I'm almost at checkout for sending flowers. Interestingly I noticed that there are other forums where people are discussing the immigration issues and also where people are effected.
Lets make it a massive campaign. We can have a link on the immigration voice home page with exact details on the address and date (final) and impress on people that it shall work.
I noticed that many Chinese use other forums in Chinese language. In fact I requested one of friends to post these details in their forum as well. May be each one of us can forward the details to others by E-mail or other wise. Try to make 10th July as big day for USCIS leaving all document packages aside but busy handling the roses.
Media would definitely be happy discussing the approach for days and in way discuss the issue as well.
Flowers do bring smile and a little bit of introspection to every one.
Lets do it big way.

EAD was about to expire before 90 days, so I took an infopass apt. The person that heard my case (soolemaga) was a d**k. Rude and impossible to communicate with. Anyway, he sent an email to someone at TSC after much cajoling and I get a call the same day from some nice lady from TSC. She says that my application for EAD is approved and I should get my card in 2 weeks. 2 days after I get the call from TSC, I get an email that card production is ordered!
I had initially called USCIS support with an expediate request citing Severe financial loss and I got a letter back that they are very strict processing expediate requests as they get a lot of such requests. So they had asked me to wait.
